“Becoming isn’t about arriving somewhere or achieving a certain aim. I see it instead as forward motion, a means of evolving, a way to reach continuously toward a better self. The journey doesn’t end.”
-Michelle Obama
Meet Hannah
I am a therapist with an educational background in sociology, anthropology, and psychology. I earned my bachelor’s from Kalamazoo College and my master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Michigan.
I practice whole-person-centered therapy, integrating connections between one’s mind, body, and spirit. I encourage people to explore their internal world of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as well as their external world of social ties, communities, and environments.
I have experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults. I predominantly focus on eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I strive to empower clients through compassionate, trauma-conscious, and strength-based therapeutic approaches. I like to implement a mix of somatic therapies, mindfulness, EMDR, ACT, DBT, and MI. I am passionate about helping people heal, learn, and grow to better navigate life’s triumphs and challenges.
