“Each time you meet a need of your body, like nourishment, rest, or attuned movement, you are repairing trust, one act of self-kindness at a time. It’s consistency, not perfection, that matters.”
Meet Rebecca Schmitke
I am dedicated to helping others heal and grow as they cultivate a more nuanced relationship with food and their bodies. I’ve witnessed firsthand how healing one’s relationship with food and nutrition can transform lives—both my own and those of the many clients I’ve had the privilege of working with.
In nutrition counseling, my goal is to foster a collaborative therapeutic relationship that invites curiosity and helps clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I offer warmth, empathy, and hope through a non-diet, trauma-informed, and weight-inclusive lens. My approach is patient-centered and evidence-based, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and personal goals.
Beyond my background in clinical and outpatient eating disorder care, I also have expertise in maternal health, specializing in prenatal and postpartum nutrition. Additionally, as a certified ARFID specialist, I help clients expand their list of accepted foods, improve variety, and rediscover the joy of eating.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors with my two children and husband.
